Last week, I shared some details on the new SEA LIFE Grapevine Turtle Rescue Center. Last night, my family had the chance to preview the new exhibit before it opened to the public. We had so much fun!

SEA LIFE Grapevine Turtle Rescue Center has partnered with Animal Rehabilitation Keep in Port Aransas to rehabilitate and rescue several turtles. It is the permanent home of two non-releasable turtles, Roxy and Squirt.

The stories behind the turtles’ injuries are part of the exhibit, and there are staff members on hand to answer questions about the turtles and their new home.

Andrew really loved watching the turtles swim through the glass in the side of the tank, which is specially-designed to accomodate the turtles’ injuries.

It really is a neat exhibit. It was one of our favorite parts of the aquarium!

Of course, there’s SO much more to see than just the SEA LIFE Grapevine Turtle Rescue Center!

Andrew even got to touch a starfish. He loved it!

Have you had the chance to visit SEA LIFE Grapevine? Be sure to check out the Turtle Rescue Center while you’re there!

Disclosure: SEA LIFE Grapevine provided tickets for my family to view the exhibit before the general public. All opinions and photos are my own.
