Valentine Slime

December 28, 2018 by Arena Blake 4 Comments

Valentine Slime

We *love* making homemade slime — and this Valentine Slime couldn’t be easier! Add some cute heart confetti for a fun treat that would be perfect paired with homemade Valentine cards for school.

It seems like everyone has a recipe for homemade slime, but I thought it would be fun to add some shapes into the slime using confetti. And I love how it turned out!

Valentine Slime

Here’s what you need to make Valentine Slime:

  1. 1 bottle Elmer’s Glitter Glue (we used pink and red)
  2. 1/4 cup water
  3. 1/4 cup liquid starch
  4. Heart confetti

In a small bowl, empty the bottle of glitter glue. Stir in the water and mix well.

Add the heart confetti and stir to incorporate.

Mix in the liquid starch. You will see the slime start to pull away from the sides of the bowl — that means it’s time to pick it up and knead and stretch it until it starts to come together.

Super fun, right!?

We were able to fill 3 4-oz containers with one batch of slime. You can adjust the recipe accordingly, or use smaller 2-oz containers if you want to stretch it further!

So fun and sparkly, right?!
