Our Trip to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom

November 12, 2013 by Arena Blake 3 Comments

Prince Charming

We’ve been back from our trip to Disney World a little over a week, and I am still trying to process it all. When they say that Disney World is the “Happiest Place on Earth,” they aren’t kidding. We had an amazing time. Are you prepared for picture overload? Because here it comes.

We spent three days exploring Epcot, The Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. The Nerd and I had to work at a convention in Orlando after that, so my mom took Andrew to the parks while we worked. It really was a great vacation, even if it was exhausting!

Here were some of my favorite parts of our trip to Magic Kingdom

We got to meet Chip and Dale, Mary Poppins, and, of course, Mickey Mouse. Andrew didn’t know who Mickey was before the trip. But now, Mickey is one of his favorite characters, and he talks about it all the time.

While not at the Magic Kingdom, we had dinner at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall to meet the princesses. My favorite was Ariel, who pretended to be a puffer fish with Andrew. It was adorable. We dressed Andrew like Prince Charming. The princesses doted on him and it was so much fun.

The most magical part, though, was watching Andrew meet Buzz Lightyear. He was *so* excited! He kept yelling for Buzz as we stood in line, and when we finally got up to the front to meet him, Andrew *flipped* out. It was adorable, and hilarious, and was totally worth the trip for that moment alone.

OMG. Those are some of the sweetest pics- and I LOVE that he freaked out when he saw buzz! Were the Halloween decorations still up when you guys left?

The picture of him meeting Buzz = priceless!! Love all of these, and looks like an amazing time. We haven’t done Disney yet with our kiddos but I hope to soon! Looks like you had a great time.
