It’s time for In My Mailbox hosted by The Story Siren.
This weekly event is a chance to see what books we have all acquired each week.
As usual, all of my books were purchased by yours truly from the bookstore.
I am totally drawn in by this cover! And the werewolf mythology in this story is intriguing — on your 16th birthday you find out if you’re a werewolf? Talk about puberty gone wrong.
Ok, I have to admit: I was sold by the jacket copy on this one:”Saved by a mysterious warrior who has more fighting skills than Chuck Norris, Nick is sucked into the realm of the Dark-Hunters: immortal vampire slayers who risk everything to save humanity.”
Who *doesn’t* want to read about a warrior who could rival Chuck Norris?
Count me in!
I love, love, love this cover. Can you tell I’m a cover girl? Hehe.
I also am excited to read about a girl who fights werewolves, and isn’t one herself. This is such a unique idea out in this world of vampires and werewolves; I can’t wait to get to it!
Well, what did you all get this week?
Happy Sunday!

I found this awesome little bookstore down here in called Book Haven. It's new and used, and is actually in an old house! It's very neat, and the owners are incredibly nice.
I found a book called:
The Court of the Air by Stephen Hunt
It was a SciFi Channel "must read" and sounds fantastic! It's about two orphans on the run who end up being sucked into an epic quest.
I also found translations of:
The Way of a Pilgrim, The Pilgrim Continues on His Way, The Bhagavad Gita, and a discussion on the Kabbalah (the mystical aspect of Judaism).
With those three, once I finish "Who Changed the Bible and Why" and "Lost Christianities", I can continue with upkeeping my studies of religions!
I am so glad I found that little bookstore!

You got some great ones! Claire de Lune was really great, Sisters Red (I'm half way through) is amazing so far, and I can't wait to see what you think of Infinity! I keep wanting to buy it and then putting it aside for other books!
