DIY Teacher Appreciation Gift

April 27, 2018 by Arena Blake 5 Comments

This post has been sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’m always looking for cute ways to support my son’s teacher, so I put together this Diet Coke® Teacher Gift for her.

Soda-Lighted Teacher Gift

Frugal teacher gift ideas can be hard to come by, so I love that I was able to purchase a four-pack of Diet Coke® from Sam’s Club for this project.

The new Diet Coke® packaging is so sleek and pretty, so I decided to incorporate that into this gift that is perfect for Diet Coke® fans.

Diet Coke® Teacher Gift

Here’s what you need to make this Diet Coke® Teacher Gift:

  • Wooden Crate
  • White Chalk Paint
  • Red Chalk Paint
  • Mod Podge
  • Paintbrushes
  • Vinyl
  • Transfer Tape
  • Shredded Gift Filler
  • Plastic Cup
  • 2 Liter bottle of Diet Coke®
  • String
  • Printable Diet Coke® Teacher Gift Tags

First, paint the entire crate using the white chalk paint. Add additional coats if necessary to form a base coat.

Cut the Diet Coke Logo out of the vinyl using a craft cutting machine. Use transfer tape to place the logo onto the wooden crate once the white paint has dried.

Cover the vinyl logo with Mod Podge to seal it. Allow to dry completely. Now, paint over the logo with red paint so that the entire board is covered. Once the red paint has dried, peel away the vinyl logo to reveal a white logo on your red line.

Fill the crate with gift filler and add a plastic cup and a bottle of Diet Coke®. Cut out the printable Diet Coke® Teacher Gift Tags and attach using string.

Hi, I love this idea! I know you put filler at the bottom, but did u add any thing else to it? How did you get the big pop to stay in place and not move around at all?

Hi, I love this idea, and plan to do something like this soon! I know you put filler at the bottom, but did you add any thing else to it? How did you get the big pop to stay in place and not move around at all?

Whatever the occasion for congratulations, a do-it-yourself gift is always more valuable. But there is not always time for this, because many of us buy gifts at the last minute. In such a case, there are many cool options that can definitely please here https://giftgeniuz.com/
