Last night I had the chance to make this fun DIY Denim Wall Organizer during a #MadeWithMichaels Blogger Night at their newest location in Southlake, Texas.
We started the evening by making the crafts with the help of Michaels experts. It was so much fun, that I wanted to share the instructions with you!
DIY Denim Wall Organizer
Stretched denim canvas
Jean pocket garland
Hot glue and hot glue gun
Cut the jean pocket garland so that it fits across the canvas. Glue the pieces onto the canvas so that you can store knick-knacks in the pockets. I hung them at an angle — aren’t they cute?
Hang the ribbon across the top and use the clothespins to hang item from it.
I’m so excited to hang ours in the house. We’ll use it to keep random pens, pencils and other items organized.
We also got a look at the new Southlake store — it is awesome!
The walls are bright and I love that you can see all the different signage around the store. It makes it so easy to navigate around.
And the all-new Make Market line is the perfect place to go for DIY project and home décor ideas – all made with simple, on-trend surfaces and textures like chalk, denim, galvanized, burlap and cork.
Stop by this Sunday to see the new Southlake Michaels store for yourself – it’s located at 1051 E. Southlake Blvd.
Grand opening celebrations begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a performance by the Carrol Dragon Cheer Squad at 9:45 a.m., followed by hourly prize giveaways and a DJ from 3-5 p.m.
Get there early – the first 100 in line will receive mystery gift cards of $10-$100!
It sounds like it’s going to be so much fun!
