Display your favorite cards with this great DIY card holder. It is so easy! Don’t throw those cards away, enjoy them for longer with this DIY card holder.
My two little boys LOVE ©2015 MARVEL Avengers. By LOVE I mean we are obsessed. We watch all the cartoons, have MULTIPLE versions of the super hero action figures, have dress up costumes, and are always playing make believe super heroes.
When it came time to celebrate their half birthdays, I knew that ©2015 MARVEL Avengers would be the perfect theme for our little family party. On half birthdays, we celebrate with a gift, a family outing, and a hand written note. I think it is really important for our kids to know how we feel about them and a card telling them this is perfect.
When I was at Walmart picking up the supplies for our family party, I stopped by the card aisle. Right on the end cap was a display of ©2015 MARVEL Avengers cards by Hallmark. How awesome are these? I picked up Hulk Smash and Thor because those are our favorites (well, I have a thing for Captain America, but don’t tell the husband!)
Hallmark didn’t stop there. They had ©2015 MARVEL Avengers wrapping paper, bags, and tons of stickers. So much to choose from. I couldn’t believe it.
While the oldest was in school and the other doing quiet time, I set up the party. I put their other birthday cards on the display, wrapped up their gifts, blew up balloons, and set up the cupcakes. My husband and I took a few minutes to write out their cards and sign them. It is so much fun doing something small for our kids and trying to really think about them.
It was SO FUN to surprise them. It made them feel so special and I loved seeing the smiles on their faces.
I loved reading them their cards to them. They really loved to hear the words of affirmation and they couldn’t wait to wear the button and hang the cards on the card display so they could look at them and enjoy them for a while. We really love our card holder. It allows us to enjoy all of the cards that we get (wedding announcements, birthday cards, and holiday cards).

Love the creativity in displaying those Avengers cards. The half birthday celebration sounds like a unique and fun tradition. Hallmarks Avengers collection at Walmart must have added an extra layer of excitement to the party preparations.
