There’s nothing quite like ending a day at the beach with roasting marshmallows for the perfect s’mores. This DIY Beach Fire Pit is exactly what you need to do just that!
When it comes to s’mores, it’s all about the ingredients. You can’t go wrong with the classics, and Walmart has made it even easier by providing everything you need in one convenient location!
- Hershey’s Milk Chocolate bars (sold in 6-pack at Walmart)
- Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares (exclusively at Walmart)
- Kraft’s Jet Puffed Marshmallows
We packed our ingredients in a cooler for a day at the beach. Once the sun started to set, it was time to break out our DIY Beach Fire Pit and make some s’mores!
S’mores are one of our go-to snacks in the summer. Any day can be a S’mores Day!
DIY Beach Fire Pit
Here’s what you need to make a DIY Beach Fire Pit:
- Medium-sized Terra Cotta Pot
- Rocks
- Sterno Candle
Dig a hole in the sand and insert the Terra Cotta pot so that it is flush with the ground. Fill it with rocks, add the Sterno candle, and surround it by rocks.
Light the candle and you’re ready to start roasting!
You don’t have to stick with the same ol’ recipe, though. I love serving Banana S’mores Bites when we want something a little different.
Banana S’mores Bites
Here’s what you need to make Banana S’mores Bites:
- Bananas, cut in half
- Hershey’s Milk Chocolate bars, in half
- Honey Maid Graham Cracker Squares
- Kraft’s Jet Puffed Marshmallows
- Aluminum Foil
Place a banana half and a chocolate bar half on a piece of foil. Set aside.
Roast your marshmallows over the DIY Beach Fire Pit. Once they’re nice and toasted, place inside the foil on top of the chocolate. Crush the graham crackers and sprinkle on top, then wrap in foil and let melt. You might even want to hold it above the fire pit to melt it even further!
When ready to eat, you’ll have a yummy banana topped with chocolate, marshmallows, and graham cracker crumbs. So good!
What’s your favorite way to serve s’mores?
