We were so excited for Disney’s latest movie to come out last week, that we got my niece and nephews together to throw a fun celebration! These Inside Out Party Ideas include everything you need to throw your own shindig!
When I invited the kids to our celebration, I knew I wanted to give everyone some fun party favors to go home with. Walmart had everything I needed! Their exclusive Inside Out Plush Dolls were perfect — each kiddo got to choose their favorite emotion and take it home with them! I also picked up some beach towels for everyone and mini figures that the kids could play with during the party.
Walmart also had some really cute polka dot party supplies that went perfectly with the movie’s look. I strung solid colored plastic table cloths along a string for a rainbow effect and hung a polka dot banner across it. An Inside Out table cloth pulled the whole look together.
We served Disney Inside Out Cupcakes (with a fun surprise inside!) and colorful chocolate candies, along with some smiley face lollipops. The kids LOVED the colorful treats — they all wanted to take a photo with their lollipops!
The photo turned out so great that I printed out small copies of it for an Inside Out Memory Orb Activity! In the movie, memories are saved in orbs, and we talked to the kids about their favorite memories.
We all live so far from each other that the kids don’t get to see their cousins very often — so I thought this photo would be the perfect keepsake from our celebration. I hope that the fun that we had during the party becomes one of their favorite memories!
Inside Out Memory Orb Activity
Here’s what you need for this Inside Out Memory Orb Activity:
- Clear, plastic ball ornaments
- Photo paper/printer
- Scissors
Print your photo onto the paper small enough that it will fit in your ornaments and cut out the photos.
Place the photo inside the ornament and secure the other side.
Fun, right!?
The kids also had a blast making their own versions of the Emotions with this Disney Inside Out Felt Character Activity.
But I think their favorite part was getting to play with their new friends. Who doesn’t love snuggling with Sadness?
