Can you feel it? Fall is almost here! There are so many things to do in Dallas this fall. If you are looking for something to keep your kids busy, look no further than this list!
Probably one of my favorite fall activities is visiting the Dallas pumpkin patches. But there is so much more than just that!

1. Roar with the dinosaurs at the HEARD Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary. (Sept. 19, 2015-Feb. 21, 2016)
2. Watch a rainbow of balloons take flight at the Plano Balloon Festival. (Sept. 18-21, 2015)
3. Explore the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden at the Dallas Arboretum.
4. Dress up for Halloween Nights at the Dallas Zoo. (Oct. 22-25, 2015)
5. Enjoy a movie under the stars at Galaxy Drive-In Theatre in Ennis.
6. Check out the Storybook Pumpkin Village and Hay Bale Maze during Autumn at the Arboretum. (Sept. 19-Nov. 25, 2015)
7. Spend the day at the Preston Trail Farms in Gunter.
8. Shop for local produce at the Dallas Farmers Market.
9. Eat some fried goodness at the State Fair of Texas. (Sept. 25-Oct. 18, 2015)
10. Pick some apples at Henrietta Creek Apple Orchard in Roanoke. (Check their Facebook page for available dates)

If you plan to visit The Gentle Zoo just be sure to call first! I drove out there a couple of weeks ago during their business hours and they were closed because their employees had called in.
