A few weeks ago, we visited the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina, Texas. Located in a small town just north of us, it made me homesick for my childhood in the country. Andrew absolutely loved it.
We spent the morning exploring the farm. Andrew loved touching the brightly-colored pumpkins.
There’s even a tractor train for little kids. The Nerd took Andrew for a ride, and it cracks me up seeing his giant body in those little cars. That’s the mark of a truly good dad, though — sacrificing his dignity for his son’s happiness.
This boy would be happy spending his days on a farm feeding cows and riding ponies.
Or roping cattle. “Lasso!” is his new favorite word.
It was such a fun way to spend a fall day. If you’re in the Dallas area, I highly recommend the Big Orange Pumpkin Farm in Celina, Texas!

Looks like fun! We haven’t been out to Celina but it looks like we need to get out there next year.
