Hot Chocolate Peppermint Sticks

December 10, 2015 by Arena Blake 3 Comments

Hot Chocolate Peppermint Sticks

Hot Chocolate Peppermint Sticks are the *best* way to enjoy delicious hot chocolate! These yummy treats are topped with marshmallows made to look like mugs of hot chocolate — how perfect is that!?

There’s nothing better than stirring a cup of steaming hot chocolate with a peppermint stick, especially one as cute as this, on a cold winter day. But having to pull out the mix, steam up some milk, hope it’s the right consistency… it’s just too much work.

International Delight Hot Chocolate

Now, I keep cartons of International Delight Hot Chocolate in our fridge for when I’m in need of a cup of cocoa. Their milk chocolate and dark chocolate flavors are rich and creamy — exactly what I want in a cup of hot chocolate.

Just pour the hot chocolate into your favorite mug and microwave for 45 seconds. That’s it!

Of course, now comes the fun part — adding in your Hot Chocolate Peppermint Sticks!

Hot Chocolate Peppermint Sticks

Here’s what you need to make Hot Chocolate Peppermint Sticks:

  1. Jumbo marshmallows
  2. Peppermint sticks
  3. Assorted sprinkles — I used hearts, trees, and nonpareils
  4. White candy melts
  5. Brown candy melts
  6. Melon baller

Decorate a marshmallow by using the white candy melts to “glue” sprinkles onto the side. This will be the front of your mug.

Stick a peppermint stick in the bottom of the “mug” — you can add a dab of candy melts to secure it in place.

Cut a marshmallow into thirds and use the melon baller to cut one of the pieces into a half-moon shape. This will be the handle of your mug. Attach it to the side of your mug using white candy melts.

Add brown candy melts on top of the mug so that it looks like hot chocolate — top with sprinkles, or white candy melts in the shape of foam.

Allow to harden completely, then add it to your cup of International Delight Hot Chocolate.

They would even make adorable gifts for teachers and neighbors!

The level structure of game doodle jump is flexible, unlike that of other games. As players progress to higher levels, fresh challenges emerge, and the game continuously evolves to maintain an engaging experience.
