Pimiento Cheese was always a part of our holiday meals growing up. So when I picked up some tubs of Price*s® pimiento cheese in their limited-edition Southern Styles, it brought back fond memories of family gathered around the table with a twinkling Christmas tree in the background.
Price*s Southern Style Pimiento Cheese is available at select Walmart stores throughout Texas. Find them in a store near you using their online store locator. You can find them in the refrigerated section near the cream cheese!
I wanted to share some of my favorite Easy Pimiento Cheese Holiday Recipes so that you can incorporate this Southern staple in your family meals!
Southern Fried Pimiento Cheese Balls
These Southern Fried Pimiento Cheese Balls are perfect for an appetizer or snack. They take just a few minutes to prep and they taste super yummy!
Here’s what you need to make Southern Fried Pimiento Cheese Balls:
- 1 tub Price*s® Southern Style Pimiento Cheese
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
- Olive oil
Make teaspoon-sized balls with the pimiento cheese. Roll in the bread crumbs and set on a plate. Freeze for 10 minutes.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan and add the cheese balls, cooking on each size until they’re golden brown.
Make sure to move them constantly so they don’t burn!
Remove from heat and serve warm.
These Southern Pimiento Cheese Mashed Potatoes are creamy and delicious. They’re the perfect addition to your holiday table!
Southern Pimiento Cheese Mashed Potatoes
Here’s what you need to make Southern Pimiento Cheese Mashed Potatoes:
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup Great Value milk
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tub Price*s® Southern Style Pimiento Cheese
Add the potatoes to a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until the potatoes and soft and cooked through. Drain and add the potatoes back to the pan.
Add the butter to the pan and mash the potatoes.
Then add the Price*s® Pimiento Cheese. Stir until combined. Pour in the milk and mix together until creamy.
