I don’t know if it’s just *my* Nerd or if this is a trait they all possess, but James has a really hard time buying me presents.
I really don’t understand it. When a holiday comes around, there’s always *something* that I think would be a good present for him, so I just assume that he can come up with something for me.
Well… you know what assuming does…
I’ve even tried dropping hints: “Hey, babe, isn’t that sweater pretty?” or “Can we just go look in Brighton for a little bit? See these earrings, they’re gorgeous.”
But even that doesn’t work.
So, I finally got smart. I started making lists.

I love everything on your list! I have a cast iron pot–not in the fabulous Lemongrass shade, but similar and I have come to really like it. I think I'm going to start giving people cast iron pots like this for wedding gifts–everyone needs one.
Crazy enough–Cliff got me that same mixer for Christmas–and it's awesome–I mix anything I can in there now. Tell James to watch for sales in JC Penny. Usually I have to make some sort of list because Cliff doesn't take hints very well but he's gotten a little better. 🙂 Last b-day he let me pick out a lens–maybe James will do the same for you. 🙂
Oh yeah, and the shootsac—AWESOME! I have been carrying mine to work with a billfold in the backside as my purse/camera bag. Totally worth it! 🙂 Thanks for the blog love!
