Are all of your kids out of school for the summer? Are you already feeling overwhelmed in the mornings? Nestlé Carnation Breakfast Essentials can help simplify the morning craziness.

Summer is here! It is one of my favorite times of the year and also one that I find most overwhelming. As a mom I feel I have a lot of strengths, but being patient is not one of them. Patience is a daily struggle for me and I am constantly working on it. With 3 kids 5 and under, I am easily overwhelmed. Before school ended, I decided that I wanted this summer to be different. I want to enjoy the small moments and take the time every morning to connect with my kids.

One thing that we are starting to do is spending a few minutes in Mom and Dad’s bed talking, tickling, and cuddling together right after we get up. What better way to connect than to listen and be near one another?

We are also trying to read more together as a family. I love laying in bed with my kids and enjoying a book. Seeing their eyes light up and them engage one another in the story is so rewarding.

Part of taking the time in the morning to connect with one another means that we need to simplify breakfast. This is where Nestlé Carnation Breakfast comes in. They are so simple to make, just add milk, and my kids LOVE them. I LOVE that they are full of vitamins and minerals (21 per prepared serving). It also has 13 g of Protein (per prepared serving) which is great for my VERY active kids.  You can find Nestlé Carnation Breakfast at your local Kroger. I loved that my local Kroger store had three flavors to chose from: vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. My favorite part about Nestlé Carnation Breakfast Essentials has to be that I enjoy them just as much as my kids do. The rich flavor is delicious and it has a great texture.
