A “Shotgun” Wedding

I posted last week about the amazing rehearsal dinner we attended before the wedding of my friend, Morgan.
Morgan and Jason had been engaged for quite a while, and wanted to do something fun and unique for their wedding.
So, they decided to throw a “Shotgun” Wedding, but not in the traditional sense!
Guests were asked to arrive at 3:06 pm (for 30 ot 6, or .30-06 rifle) and the wedding started at 4:10 pm (for a .410 shotgun).
After the ceremony, guests were invited to a round of skeet shooting over the lake.

The bride and groom even had a go!

Their wedding cake went with the theme.

The cake topper was custom made so that it would be anatomically correct.
You see, all of the other deer cake toppers Morgan could find had a girl deer with horns — but does don’t have horns!

The bride and groom took a turn on the dance floor.

They look so happy and in love.

Awwwww…

But my favorite part of the night was watching Morgan dance with her dad.

You see, he’s my boss. And I never knew he had moves like that!

I love this shot of him!

I think they were both tired after their spin!

I love this girl and I’m so happy she’s found her Price Charming!
Thanks for looking!
My friend, Morgan, had a “shotgun” wedding — with real guns and everything!
