Andrew has always loved music. When he was an infant, he would turn at the sound of music playing. Even now, he will drop everything and turn to the television when music starts playing.
So when I was offered a complimentary membership to Kidville as a contributor for Dallas Moms Blog, I instantly knew that we’d be taking their Rockin’ Railroad class.
This class is so much fun. There is a band that sings original songs. The kids leave Kidville Station and use their imaginations to visit Instrumentville to try a new instrument, stop by Grandma’s House for story time and slow down for bubbles and drum time.
Andrew LOVES it. He is really active, so sometimes it’s hard for him to sit still in the circle with the other kids. He likes to run around the room and visit the different musicians instead. And the Kidville staff is so great, going along with it and letting him have fun.
Each week, we look forward to our visit to Kidville. Andrew leaves exhausted and takes an extra-long nap that day. I love that he’s getting exposed to different kinds of music and lots of different instruments.
But maybe music isn’t your thing? Kidville has a ton of different classes, from gym to dance to art. Plus, they have a really awesome play area.
Have you ever taken classes with your little one?
