Melted Bead Suncatcher Custom Shapes

March 10, 2017 by Arena Blake 1 Comment

Melted Bead Suncatchers

These Melted Bead Suncatcher Custom Shapes are perfect for the bright, sunny weather we’ve been having lately. Your kids will love creating fun shapes and watching them become something totally new.

And stringing the beads onto wire is the perfect activity for little fingers to work on hand-eye coordination. We had such a great time making these and hanging them in the window. I think we’re ready for spring now!

Line the baking dish with aluminum foil and set the shapes inside. Place on your outdoor grill on high for 20-30 minutes, until the beads are melted.

Remove from heat and allow to cool, then carefully peel the suncatchers from the foil. Drill a hole into the top of the suncatchers so that you can hang them.

Aren’t they fun? I love how they reflect the sunlight.

I followed your directions on our little gril. It burned . And I could see the holes. Would it work if I layed them on the rounded side so the holes don’t show?
