If there’s one thing that my husband loves, it’s a good action movie. So I can’t wait to purchase Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit when it is released on Blu-ray this week — it will be the perfect gift for him for Father’s Day! To get ready, I threw a Secret Agent Spy Party that would be perfect to recreate for your own celebration.
Chris Pine is one of my husband’s favorite actors, and I’ve always been a fan of Keira Knightley. We didn’t get the chance to see this one in theaters, so I am counting the days for the DVD release!
I’m planning to purchase the exclusive Blu-ray release of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit for $12.96 at Walmart and get $15 off a sports tickets at Ticketmaster! (Offer valid Tuesday, 6/10 – Saturday, 6/14 ONLY)
The Walmart exclusive pack includes two movies for the price of one! You’ll get a copy of Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit and The Italian Job! That’s two great movies for the price of one, PLUS $15 off sports tickets! Talk about the perfect Father’s Day gift!
Ready to throw your Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit party? Let’s get started!
Prepared Meatballs (I used this recipe.)
Knotted Bamboo Skewers
Red and Black Paint Markers
Paint the ends of the bamboo skewers to resemble a fuse using the black paint marker, and adding a bit of red to the tip. Make sure to leave enough room to insert the skewer into the meatballs without letting the paint touch the food. Cut off the excess on the ends.
Insert into the tops of meatballs and enjoy!
“Pop” Secret Popcorn Snacks
These snacks were probably the easiest to make for the party. I printed up a cardstock label and added some microwave popcorn to these super-cute cardboard containers. Simple as that!
Secret Agent Spy Cupcake Toppers
The easiest way to dress up a dessert is with fun cupcake toppers! I bought some cupcakes at the store, then printed out these toppers on white cardstock and taped them to toothpicks. Insert them into the top of the cupcakes and they’re ready to go!
I was really happy with how the party turned out, and my husband and son loved eating all the “secret agent” snacks!
