How to Make a Kids Succulent Garden with Netflix

Disclosure: I am a member of the Netflix Stream Team, and was provided with a year of service and other perks. Each month, I’ll be participating in challenges. All opinions are my own.

Now that spring is here, teach your kids the joy of caring for living things with this easy tutorial for How to Make a Kids Succulent Garden.

As my kids are getting older, I want to expose them to different learning and growing opportunities. With Netflix, I have the ability to teach my kids so many new things with the variety of shows at my fingertips.

Now that flowers are starting to pop up, I wanted to teach my kids how to care for plants, so I thought giving them a small garden inside would be perfect. This is were succulents come in!

I just LOVE succulents SO much. They are so durable and don’t require much work to keep them looking beautiful. This is why they are perfect for my learners.

We watched a Curious George episode about caring for a garden and then went to the store to pick up some plants. I found this cute little container at Target and knew that it would be perfect for our project. We came home and got them planted. It was so quick and easy!

Placing rocks in the bottom helps with draining extra water out, which is crucial for these plants.

I used a cactus-specific soil that is great at removing the extra water too!

Great, thanks for sharing your experience! I’ve always loved succulents, they’re amazing cute plants. Their special advantage is that they are small, and if you have very little space in the house, you can safely choose a plant of this kind for yourself. Here https://gardeniaorganic.com/succulents-that-stay-small/ you can find more information about succulents that stay small.
