A few weeks ago, we headed to Corpus Christi to spend Memorial Day weekend with The Nerd’s family.
On Sunday, we headed to the beach for a few hours with Andrew.
To say that he hated it would be an understatement.
He wasn’t too sure about the waves…
And it was so windy and loud. He literally held onto The Nerd’s shirt the whole time.
Then Grandpa decided to try to coax him into the water.
Andrew wasn’t having any of it at first.
He was hanging on for dear life.
But eventually he let Grandpa set him down in the water.
That didn’t last long, though.
Then Grandpa found some seashells…
Andrew was mesmerized.
He loved feeling them and holding them in his hands.
It’s so amazing to watch him discover the world.
Of course, we had to get some family photos of Andrew’s first visit to the beach.
I love my little family!
What did you do for Memorial Day?

I love the narrative of Andrew’s first time at the beach! He’s so very cute!!! I’m sure he’ll grow to love it. We are spending a week at the beach with our 22-mo old this summer. Hope he likes it!!! Anyways, we stayed inside on Memorial Day weekend b/c it was sweltering! Ha!
