This fruit salad was a great side dish for our Fourth of July festivities.
It’s easy to make and *so* flavorful.
Sometimes, I feel guilty about taking something so healthy and pouring pure sugar on top of it. Then, I take a bite and I’m over it.
Fresh Fruit Salad
Ingredients:
2 red apples, diced
2 green apples, diced
1 package of strawberries, diced with tops cut off
1 small package of blackberries
2 cups seedless red grapes, sliced in half
1 cup sugar
Directions:
Throw fruit in a large (2 gallon) Ziploc bag.
Pour sugar into bag.
Remove air from the bag and zip it closed.
Shake bag, coating fruit with sugar.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour before serving.
You could really use any fruit in this dish — mandarin oranges, cherries, blueberries…
The possibilities are endless.
Enjoy!

Such a great idea, and easy too! Lately I've been skimping out on fresh fruit due to "quick" meals. Thanks for the inspiration.
