I was recently invited to attend a party for Dr. Smith’s Diaper Rash Ointment to celebrate its launch in stores nationwide. I was really excited to attend, see some of my favorite Texas bloggers, and learn more about this awesome product.
As a mom, you can never underestimate the power of a great diaper rash ointment. When it gets bad, you want to make it better fast. I’ve been a fan of Dr. Smith’s since I first tried it, and I can tell you — this stuff works!
The ointment was developed in 1963 by a pediatrician in San Antonio. It started with a small regional presence, but now is available in all Walgreens stores throughout the United States and on their website. Kroger plans to offer the product in all of its stores. And Walmart has increased the number of its stores offering the ointment.
At the party, we had the chance to meet Ali Landry, a mompreneur, designer and actress who also happens to be a mother of three. She shared her experiences as a mom and wife, and even opened up a bit about the postpartum anxiety she experienced with her last child. It was so refreshing to hear a celebrity be so open about her struggles as a mom. I know we’ve all been there!
It was such a fun party. We even got to take home some fun swag bags with diaper rash cream! This was actually the perfect thing, since I got home and Andrew had a pretty bad diaper rash. It never ends, does it?
Have you tried Dr. Smith’s Diaper Rash Ointment?

We’ve never tried that Diaper Rash ointment. But I’ll keep it in mind for the next time we have a little one in diapers!

I just love Dr. Smiths! This was such a fun event, and it was great to hear real life mom stories from a glamorous, famous mom. It’s nice to know that she’s a “real person”, too, and that the same great products we love are the ones she’s using, too! 🙂 Products like this make me so proud to be a TEXAN!
