These DIY Mickey Mouse Ears are a fun way to show your #DisneySide, especially when throwing a Mickey Mouse Birthday Party!
We gave these to each child attending our recent Disney Imagicademy party, and they were a HUGE hit! We even added fun pink bows to the girls’ headbands, so they could be Minnie Mouse.

What You Need to Make DIY Mickey Mouse Ears:
Black Felt
Plastic Headbands
Thick Foam Sheets
Paint Marker
Hot Glue Gun
Pink Ribbon (optional)
Directions:
Begin by covering each headband in black felt. Cut strips of felt twice the width of the headbands — it’s better to be a bit bigger and trim the edges if needed. Use the hot glue to attach the felt to the headband, pressing hard as you go.

Cut the ears out of felt using the template — you’ll need two ears for each headband. I traced them onto the felt using the paint marker.
Cut two-inch circles out of the foam sheets — these will be the insides of the ears.
Lay the ears flat and insert the foam circles.
Wrap the end around the headband and secure using hot glue around the edges.
Repeat with the other ear, then trim the edges to get rid of any marks.
Aren’t they cute? My kiddo loves wearing them!
