You may remember my confession last year that I have a problem … with decorating for Christmas WAY TOO EARLY.
So, when I first heard about the Christmas in Cowtown Holiday Gift Market, I knew it would be the perfect excuse to get started on my holiday decorating a little early.
You guys, I am SO EXCITED about this event!
The Christmas in Cowtown Holiday Gift Market runs from Oct. 5 to Oct. 8 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth. The market features more than 130 carefully-selected exhibitors in a holiday-themed setting. Christmas will most definitely be in the air!
Just some of the featured items include home decor, wall art and accessories, antiques, seasonal items, jewelry, children’s products and clothing.
The public market hours are 11 am to 6 pm Thursday, Oct. 6; 9 am to 8 pm Friday, Oct. 7 and 9 am to 6 pm Saturday, Oct. 8. Tickets cost $10 per guest and children 5 and under are admitted free of charge. A three-day pass can be purchased for $15.
If you just can’t wait to check out all the holiday goodies, there is a Cocktails in Cowtown Preview Party from 6 to 9 pm Wednesday, Oct. 5, featuring heavy hors d’oeuvres, private shopping and cocktails. Tickets are $50 each. Sounds like my kind of party!
There’s also the These Boots Were Made for Shopping Ladies Lunch on Thursday, with private shopping from 9 to 11 am, followed by a buffet lunch. Tickets are $75 each.
You can check out all the details at the Christmas in Cowtown website.
I really can’t wait to see all of the beautiful holiday decorations for sale. You know I’m going to come home with an itch to get our Christmas tree out of the garage and up in the living room! I can just see The Nerd shuddering right now…
What are your favorite holiday decorations? When do you put up your tree? Am I the only crazy one here?
**Disclaimer** The Junior League of Fort Worth is providing two free tickets and compensation for promotion by The Nerd’s Wife of Christmas in Cowtown. Opinions stated are my own.
