Need to spice up date night? Try these Chocolate-Covered Strawberries. They’re so yummy and super easy to make!

Now that school has started, our schedule has gotten crazy. Each Sunday, my husband and I sit down and plan out our week. We try to plan a date night each week, even if it something simple. Honestly, I think that our simple date nights in are my favorite.

Some of my essentials for a date night are a great movie, our favorite lotion, an amazing candle, a comfy pair of socks, the softest blanket around, homemade chocolate covered strawberries (the hubby’s favorite treat), and K-Y® LOVE Sensuality Pleasure Gel.

K-Y® LOVE Sensuality Pleasure Gel is a great way to improve intimacy and reconnect from a busy life. I feel that reconnecting weekly is a great way to build our relationship as husband and wife.

I always try to do something special for my husband and making his favorite dessert is just so easy. When I was at Walmart picking up my supplies for date night, I picked up my K-Y® LOVE Sensuality Pleasure Gel. You can find it in the Family Planning section. I love how convenient it is to pick up everything I need in one place.

Chocolate-Covered Strawberries

Here is how I make Chocolate Covered Strawberries and my tips for helping them to turn out great!

What you need to make Chocolate-Covered Strawberries:

  1. Your favorite chocolate chips (I used white chocolate and milk chocolate)
  2. Strawberries
  3. Glass Bowls
  4. Wax paper
  5. Topping for your strawberries (I used chopped pecans and mini chocolate chips)

Wash your strawberries and dry them individually. They need to be completely dry. It is also best if they are at room temperature.

Melt your chocolate in a glass bowl in the microwave. It took me about 2 minutes.

Dip your strawberries in the chocolate and allow the excess chocolate to drip off.

Lay them on a the wax paper and sprinkle toppings on them.

Allow them to cool and harden. I like sticking mine in the refrigerator for about an hour.

Enjoy!

What do you do to make date night special and more intimate with your better half?
