Chevy Traverse {White Diamond Edition}

A few weeks ago, I headed to the State Fair of Texas for a very special treat. The North Texas Chevy Dealers gave 35 Dallas-Fort Worth bloggers the chance to test drive a White Diamond-Edition Chevy Traverse for two weeks, and I was one of the lucky girls chosen!

The Traverses looked so beautiful all lined up in the parking lot. I was SO EXCITED to take one home!

Tracy and Mike from Wylie Musser Motors in Terrell showed me all the bells and whistles.

I absolutely loved driving it for two weeks. When my test drive came to an end, I didn’t want to give it back!

The Traverse seats eight — it has two bench seats in the rear that are super-easy to manipulate. If you want more cargo space, you can lay down the back seat.

It comes equipped with Bluetooth Hands-Free calling — one of my favorite features. It you can store numbers in the Traverse so that you just push the hands-free calling button and tell it to call whomever and it would dial using your cell phone. It is SO awesome.

Oh, and I LOVED the OnStar turn-by-turn directions. Totally worth the yearly fee for OnStar. If turn-by-turn was available for my Equinox, I’d totally subscribe.

But you may be surprised by my absolute favorite feature:

I definitely LOVED having the Traverse. There are so many cool little things about it that you wouldn’t think of, like ambient light in the front so you can see the cup holders between the two front seats at night.

We took a trip to College Station to see the Aggie Football game, and the Traverse was the perfect vehicle to drive all six of us adults around. We only had to pay for parking once and we all got to the game at the same time.

After the game, we had the AC blasting (there are rear vents and controls, which is AWESOME) and everyone got cooled off really quickly!
