Celebrating Mother’s Day with Helen Ficalora

Let’s talk about “mom style” for a minute. As a work-from-home mom, there’s little incentive for me to get up and style an outfit every day. I often go for comfortable over stylish anyway.

But I’ve found it’s easy to stay fashionable and trendy by adding a few pieces to your wardrobe that are classic staples. For me, it’s jewelry like this Helen Ficalora charm necklace. The classic 14k gold necklace goes with everything in my wardrobe — and I like that you can add other charms to personalize your piece.

This weekend, we visited the beach and I decided to dress more for comfort than for style. I added a few trendy pieces, like this crochet vest and long beaded necklace, to create a casual beach look.

But I made sure to keep my classic pieces on, too. My Helen Ficalora charm necklace layered perfectly with the beachy bead necklace. Right now, I’m loving it with a simple “mom” charm, but I’m looking forward to adding some charms (like Andrew’s birthstone) to it.

It was the perfect outfit for chasing this little guy around the beach for several hours. We had a great day, and it was so much fun!
