I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client.

Every year, I look forward to fall for one thing — College Football Season! The Nerd and I met at Texas A&M, and it’s been such a huge part of our lives and relationship. Last year, we took Andrew to his first football game the day after he turned one. We wanted to make sure that Andrew grew up with the Aggie traditions and going to football games, so earlier this year, we joined the Aggie Wagon group tailgate.

Each member of the tailgate is responsible for providing the food for one game. Last weekend was our turn. Since we live three hours away from College Station, I wanted to make something that would be easy to transport and easy to make on site. These Buffalo Chicken Skewers with Bleu Cheese Dip were the perfect choice!

Buffalo Chicken Skewers with Bleu Cheese Dip

Ingredients:
Fully-Cooked Tyson Buffalo Tenders
Bamboo Skewers
3/4 c Sour Cream
1/4 c Mayonnaise
1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
4 oz Crumbled Bleu Cheese
1 Tbsp Chopped Green Onions
1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice

Directions:

Cut the Buffalo Chicken Tenders into cubes and string on the bamboo skewers. Spray down the grill with nonstick cooking spray and heat it up. Lay the skewers on the top rack of the grill and heat through.

Meanwhile, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, bleu cheese, garlic salt, black pepper, green onions and lemon juice. Serve on the side with the warm Buffalo Chicken Skewers.

Along with the Buffalo Chicken Skewers, we served Aggie Football Cookies and Football Brownie Bites.

We went to Sam’s Club to purchase Tyson Buffalo Chicken Tenders. I was really impressed with how affordable they were.

Want to try some for yourself? There will be demos at Sam’s Clubs nationwide on Oct. 5 where there will be Tyson samples as well as tables set up for finger football with referees. Plus, the first 200 people that attend the demo get a free Finger Football take home kit! There’s even a cool new app that you can use on your smart phone while at the demo to enhance the Finger Football experience.

What are your favorite football snacks?
