What I Wore Wednesday: 4 Summer Trends

I have something a little different for you today. My sister, Jet, has this uncanny ability to look great, no matter what life throws at her. Can you believe that she just had a baby in April? Not to mention that she has THREE kids under the age of four. I don’t know how she does it!

I am not fashionable at all (even though I’d like to be!), so I asked Jet if she’d share a little of her fashion wisdom as a contributor here. She’ll be popping in now and then to keep us up-to-date on the latest mom fashion! Please welcome her.

I love trends. They are an easy way for you to get out of a fashion funk and add some fun into your wardrobe. In this outfit, I am showing 4 trends that I am loving this summer: bright colors, chevron, bubble necklaces, and sparkles.

You never want to spend a ton of money on trends. Trends, by definition, come and go. I like finding trendy pieces that are inexpensive by searching deal sites or picking statement pieces like these bubble necklaces. Jewelry is always a great option because you can usually find it on sale and it ties outfits together. Here I layered a large bubble necklace with a mini bubble necklace, creating a unique piece. Don’t be afraid to be trendy — just do it, and have fun!
