A few weeks ago, The Nerd and I were invited to Mimi’s Cafe to sample their new menu. I had never been to Mimi’s before, so I was excited to see what they had in store for us.

I was amazed at some of the things on their new menu — mussels, french cocktails and even some baked brie that I’m *still* dreaming about. The food was the kind you’d find at a high-end restaurant, but for value prices.

Mimi’s Cafe was recently acquired by Le Duff America, Inc., which is working to revamp the restaurant’s image and move toward a focus on classic French cuisine. We were able to meet Executive Chef Katie Sutton, who developed the new menu, and her dedication to serving great food was apparent.

The new menu includes items like Mimi’s Signature Bouillabaisse, Grilled Salmon Salade Niçoise, Coq au Vin and Brioche Croque Madame. Each dish that was served looked like something you’d find in a restaurant in Paris. I couldn’t help myself to just one thing — I had to sample them all!
If you’re looking for a restaurant with great value and delicious food, definitely give Mimi’s Cafe a try. I can’t wait to go back and have some of my favorites again. The baked brie is calling my name!
Have you tried the new menu at Mimi’s Cafe?
Disclaimer: I was invited to try the new menu at Mimi’s Cafe. I received a gift card and dinner at the event. All opinions and photos are my own.

Everything looks SO delicious! I love the name, too. My grandma was Mimi and she was a VERY good cook! 🙂 We’ll have to check it out soon!
Great photos!
Mimi’s was such a yummy place to eat! And I love the way your photos capture the food – mouth watering! Makes me crave Mimi’s now! Perhaps dinner tonight? 🙂
We need to go check this place out sometime. I just worry because of all of the shellfish.
Mimi’s is THE BOMB. I haven’t tried the new menu yet, but I need to…looks amazing!
I was a dedicated Mimi’s bruncher but their dinner is amazing! And that brie was amazing!
OMG this looks delicious!
Mimi’s Cafe has always been one of those places where people go for comfort food and relaxed dining, so menu updates like these are helpful before planning a visit. I like when restaurant guides include pricing and calorie details because it makes ordering easier, especially for families or larger groups. I recently checked https://outbacksmenu.us/ for a similar reason and found the categorized layout really convenient for browsing meals without digging through multiple pages. Simple menu guides honestly save a lot of time.
