Be the ultimate sideline hero with this Fresh Fruit Trail Mix Team Snack Recipe and Powerade drinks. It has everything you need to keep players hydrated and healthy!

My boys *LOVE* soccer. It is the sport that they chose to play in the fall and spring. They love it so much that they give their all at every game. By the end, they are exhausted.

As a Mom, I feel it is really important to not give them sugary snacks and juice after their hard workouts. I love POWERADE® because it is formulated with Vitamins B3, B6, and B12 to support energy metabolism, and a 6% carbohydrate solution to help provide energy to working muscles.

And you can’t go wrong with nuts and fruits as the treats. We don’t eat a lot of junk food in our home — fruit and nuts being our main snack — so I feel that this is really important to continue on the field. I am trying to teach my kids to make smart decision when it comes to food and to have all things in moderation.

After I got my assigned date to provide snacks for their soccer team, I headed to Walmart to pick up what I needed. I love how I can run in and find everything I need. They have such a great selection of  POWERADE®.

I was so impressed with their fruit selection. They had everything you could need or want. I really loved how all of their fruit was cooled in their stands. It was all perfectly ripe and delicious.

What you need to make this Fresh Fruit Trail Mix Team Snack Recipe:

  • Trail mix of your choice: I used a blend of raisins, nuts, and a little candy
  • Berries of your choice: I used blueberries, grapes, and red raspberries

How to make it:

Take 1/2 a Cup of your trail mix and combine it with 1 Cup of your berries or fruit in a sandwich bag.  I love an easy, quick, and simple recipe and this one is just that. It was so delicious.

The kids loved the mix of salty trail mix with the sweet berries!
