This weekend is River’s birthday party.
She turned two on Nov. 1 and we’re getting together to celebrate the occassion.
I’m so excited!
It’s a Wonder Pets theme.
Oh, you don’t know who the Wonder Pets are?
Maybe you should hang out with more two-year-olds.
♫♪♫ Lenny, Tuck and Ming-Ming, too, are Wonder Pets and they’ll help you… ♫♪♫
So as I started thinking about the party and what all we would serve, I remembered seeing these super-cute Lego Star Wars Sugar Cookie Pops from Our Best Bites.
And I thought they would be the perfect addition to the party! But, you know, with Lenny, Tuck and Ming-Ming.
So, I made these!
I ordered the icing sheets from eCrater.
I used this sugar cookie recipe and this tutorial for sugar cookie pops.
I think they turned out really cute.
Seriously cute.
**snort!**
Happy Friday!

Hi! I saw the same thing on Our Best Bites, and I've been thinking about making Elmo-themed cookie pops for my daughter's upcoming 2nd birthday. My question for you – when finished, was the icing on the cookie sturdy enough to wrap each one in plastic so that I can give them out with the favors?

Hi Lauren!
The Glace icing was hard enough to put in bags — in fact, I did the same thing with mine! But, a few got smooshed and the Wonder Pets image stuck to the bag, but it peeled off when you opened the bag.
Hope that helps!

*I* love that show! I am so sad my kids are too old for it…Love the cookies!!
