As you know, I’m an avid blog stalker. I love finding these blog carnivals and reading about their assigned topics. What a great idea to have many different bloggers give their insight on one topic! This is Wishful Wednesday over at The Seattle Smith’s and I thought I’d participate.
Here’s the topic: “I wish … Santa would have remembered ________ on my list!”
There really isn’t a whole lot that I wish I would have gotten for Christmas. As you’ve read, I got a really good haul this year!
But, there is *one* thing that I was hoping to get that I didn’t come away with. This *amazing* necklace from Lisa Leonard Designs would have made me very happy:
And now, for your viewing pleasure, some photos from the Christmas celebration with my side of the family. You got to see our family photos yesterday, but now here are some photos of everyone opening their presents!
River had lots of presents. She got a Pooh Bear doll from The Nerd and me, a Pooh Bear tree house from Nanna and Pappy, some adorable clothes and a toy vacuum from Brad & Jet!
Riv was so excited, she couldn’t wait to get it out of the box!
She really loves Pooh Bear!
Brad got some super-sweet sunglasses! (And the Game of Life!)
Here’s Jet looking at some of Hyrum’s haul: a Baby Bjorn carrier, a singing bear and a singing octopus!
Isn’t their family so cute?
Sadly, I didn’t get any photos of James and me, or Nanna and Pappy. 🙁 I was too absorbed by the babies to photograph much else!
I got the complete set of Sookie Sackhouse books (the books that True Blood is based on).
James got Battlestar Galactica: The Plan. We now own every BSG show/film ever made. Score.
Pappy got a novel on revelation. He’s reading it now.
Nanny got an awesome frame that says “Nanna and Pappy’s House” and lists their grandchildren.
Awesome presents, right?
What do you wish that Santa had brought that he didn’t? I’d love to hear your wish lists!
Thanks for looking!
