Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
One of my favorite books growing up was The Giver by Lois Lowry. I had never read anything like it before. It was dystopian before dystopian was cool.
So when I read the description of Matched by Ally Condie, I *knew* that I would love this book.

I haven't gotten around to The Giver yet, but I've been 'waiting' for this one too! It sounds so unique.

Matched is one of my picks for this week too! I loved The Giver as well, it really was groundbreaking in terms of dystopian YA.
I'm waiting on this one too. While I read The Giver in school, it was one of those books that I had a love/hate relationship with.
i want this a lot – preordered it ages ago to then have my order cancelled – apparently we aren't getting the hardback version in the UK 🙁
I do love this cover. It somewhat reminds me of that bubble that Glinda the Good Witch of the North from the Wizard of Oz travels around in.
