Last night, I got to meet Richelle Mead, author of the Vampire Academy series.
::cue squealing fan-girl moment::
She was on tour for the final book in the series, Last Sacrifice.
I just started the series, but I am already enthralled. I’m sure it will be one of my favorites. Rose is such an awesome kick-butt heroine.
Richelle started by reading a non-spoilery scene from Last Sacrifice. It made me want to rush through the books even more to know what happens!
Then she answered questions from the audience and told us a little about her new VA spin-off series, Bloodlines.
I met Kari from A Good Addiction there, who was awesome enough to save me a seat on the front row! Kari has these super-awesome orange Converse shoes that she gets signed by authors. Love them!
Since I’m celebrating my blogiversary this week, I picked up two extra copies of Last Sacrifice to share with you guys!
