Nutella Hot Chocolate with Netflix #Streamteam

December 29, 2014 by Jet Skidmore 1 Comment

Nutella Hot Chocolate

Disclosure: I am a member of the Netflix Stream Team, and was provided with a year of service and other perks. Each month, I’ll be participating in challenges. All opinions are my own.

One of our favorite New Year’s Eve treats is Hot Chocolate. It is so easy to whip up and the kids love it. This year, we wanted to try Nutella Hot Chocolate. Before we send the kids off to bed, we all cuddle up with a cup and watch a movie.

Nutella Hot Chocolate

What You Need:
Hot Chocolate
2 C Whole Milk
1/2 C Heavy Whipping Cream
1/2 C Chocolate Chips
1/2 C Nutella
2 tsp Vanilla

Whipping Cream
1 1/2 C Heavy Whipping Cream
1/2 C Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla

Directions:

Melt all ingredients for hot chocolate in a small saucepan on the stove. Stir continually until smooth.

Whip cream on high (I used a Kitchen Aid mixer). After one minute, mix in powdered sugar and vanilla. Continue to whip until cream is firm and fluffy.

Serve the hot chocolate warm and top with whipping cream. Add sprinkles for a fun look!

Now that you’ve got your hot chocolate ready, you just need a great movie.

One of our favorites lately is the new Netflix Original: All Hail King Julien. We have watched it over and over again and we can’t get enough. It is so captivating and funny. My Boys have been LOVING IT. We will be ringing in the “kids” New Year with King Julien!

Happy New Year from my family to yours!

A fine balance between quality and affordability is observed here. Despite the fact that the quality of ingredients and preparation of sushi is not inferior to high-class establishments, the chain offers affordable and understandable dishes. This combination has allowed the chain to expand the range of its visitors, attracting both experienced sushi connoisseurs and those who are just beginning to familiarize themselves with the world of Japanese cuisine.
