As for me, I totally did *not* carve two hours out of my workday on Thursday to go get highlights. Not me. I work from sun-up to sun-down, even when I’ve been working like that for the past three months.
And then, I did *not* freak out because my hair was …. BLONDE!! …. yes, blonde.
Ohmyjeebus.

Funny sidenote: James took this photo of me just a few minutes ago in the back yard. A thunderstorm is rolling in and the wind was blowing pretty hard.

So, back to my confession. I did *not* cry and wail and bawl because my hair was blonde. Not me. I’m not *that* shallow.
Hey, it grew on me over the weekend. Now, I’m really starting to like it.
I think it was just the *shock* of expecting “carmel” highlights (that’s what she said she was giving me!) and seeing BLONDE.
Obviously, our definitions of “carmel” are a bit different.
But it’s all good in the end.
