Holiday Glazed Ham

I’m not the biggest fan of cooking turkey.
Yes, I know how terrible that sounds — a food blogger who doesn’t like to cook turkey.
In fact, every year, we order a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving.
So, I like to serve a holiday glazed spiral ham to offer guests a little variety.
Here’s a no-fail glaze for the ham that turns out oh-so-yummy!
Holiday Glazed Ham
Ingredients:
A spiral-cut cooked ham
1 jar of marichino cherries
1 can sliced pineapple
1 cup brown sugar
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Whisk together 1 cup of pineapple juice (from the can of slices!) and the brown sugar.
Place the ham in a baking dish and pour the juice mixture over it. Make sure you cover it with the glaze.
Top with pineapples and cherries, using toothpicks to hold the fruit in place.
Bake uncovered for 35 to 45 minutes, until the pineapple has just started to turn golden brown.

Enjoy!
Holiday Glazed Ham is a great addition to your holiday dinner table.

oh its awesomely strange to find someone else who does ham for thanksgiving!
My family isn't a big fan of turkey either so we do ham every year.
We also do the pineapple juice too except we like to first cook the ham half way with just pineapple juice and let some of the sodium drip out.
Then we drain the juice, add pineapple rings, and let the ham cook all the way. The glaze come in during the last 10 minutes so the skin is slightly sticky from the sugar.
I like draining out the juice midway so it reduces the sodium intake.
