GlossyBox Beauty Subscription Box

November 23, 2014 by Arena Blake 1 Comment

Glossy Box

I love trying out new beauty products, but most of the time, I have no idea where to begin. So I was intrigued to try the GlossyBox Beauty Subscription Box this month, and wanted to share my review with you.

Glossy Box

My first impression was how much I loved the gorgeous packaging. The pale pink box that arrives is heavy and quality material. You open it up to a wrapped package tied with a bow. Isn’t it gorgeous?

The box contains five beauty products that are full or deluxe size. This month’s box contained:

  1. OPI Nail Lacquer in Pink Outside the GlossyBox (Full Size) – $9.50
  2. So Susan Cosmetics Universal Blush (Full Size) – $23
  3. Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer (0.5 oz) – $11.25
  4. 12 Benefits Instant Healthy Hair Treatment (1.5 oz) – $5
  5. Kneipp Herbal Bath Balancing Lavender (20 ml) – $4

Total box value: $53

Right now when you order, you receive a free lip balm!

My favorite items in the box were definitely the OPI Nail Lacquer and So Susan Cosmetics Universal Blush.

The shade of nail polish shade was made especially for GlossyBox subscribers to match their signature pink subscription box. It’s such a beautiful color, and I know it will become a staple product for me.

I have a hard time choosing blush because my pale skin tends to get red easily. This blush is mid-pigmented and has a nice shimmer, so I didn’t feel like I was walking around with painted cheeks.

I’m also excited to try the lavender bath.

Also included in the box is a folded insert that details each item received, gives the value and size, and also provides tips on using the products. I loved that little touch. It’s great for someone like me, who like to try products but doesn’t always know the best way to use them.

With all of these great products, I felt like this box was definitely worth the $21 subscription price. The box ships to US and Canada.

Now, you have the chance to win one of your own!

Your review convinced me to give GlossyBox a shot. The personalized touch with the exclusive OPI shade is a nice touch. Can not wait to pamper myself with these beauty goodies.
