Frustrated

Today, I am frustrated.

Frustrated by so many things. Like how I never seem to have enough time to catch up on all of my work. There’s always something else to do. So, things get neglected.

Like my blog. I haven’t had much time to write about my life these last few weeks. I have so many things I want to share with you, and it frustrates me that I just don’t have time to write the posts.

My health. I have wanted to work on eating right and exercising regularly. I’ve been to the gym one time since I made that commitment. One time. I just don’t have time to spare to go to the gym. There are e-mails to answer and questions to figure out. Books to publish. You know the drill.

My family. This weekend, I got to spend lots of time with my sister and nephew. It was so great. I’m frustrated because they live so far away — New Mexico. My brother and his daughter live in Denver. My parents live nearby, and we see them pretty much every weekend. But I wish there were some *babies* here that I could dote on.

See what I mean? Wouldn’t you want to be around that cute baby all the time?

But — things are looking up! Spring Break is next week. And hopefully, I’ll have some time to get my head on straight. I just feel so stressed out and …. frustrated.

One final cause of frustration: I was *supposed* to start a Wilton Cake Decorating class tonight. But the wonderful Michael’s store in Frisco canceled the class and moved me to the Saturday morning class without *telling* me. So, now I have to give up two hours of my Saturday for the next four weeks. Ugh. I hope I learn lots.

I was really looking forward to getting away from everything for a few hours and learning something new and creative.

Instead, here I am….frustrated.
