DIY Neon Clutch & Summer On-The-Go Essentials

One of my favorite summer trends is the appearance of neon. This DIY Neon Clutch is the perfect way to add a pop of neon to any outfit for a summer chic look.

I’ve been carrying my DIY Neon Clutch around as we’ve been traveling this summer, and wanted to share some of my on-the-go essentials — like Tom’s of Maine Long-Lasting Deodorant. They’re perfect for looking refreshed, even when you’ve been chasing a two-year-old in the Texas heat.

You can find Tom’s of Main Long-Lasting Deodorant at Whole Foods — I really like how it contains natural ingredients and still provides the protection that I need. It does not artificial colors, flavors, fragrances, or preservatives, which is awesome!

DIY Neon Clutch

 

Supplies:
Natural Canvas Clutch (I found mine at Hobby Lobby)
Painter’s Tape
Paint Brush
Neon Yellow Acrylic Paint
Neon Pink Acrylic Paint
Blank Paper

Directions:

Insert a sheet of blank paper into the clutch to prevent the paint from bleeding inside.

Tape off two stripes at the bottom of the bag.

Paint one of the stripes with the neon yellow paint. Allow to dry completely.

Paint the other stripe with the neon pink paint. Allow to dry completely.

Repeat with the top flap of the clutch and the back of the clutch.

Remove the tape and you’re good to go!
