It has been a crazy long week for your momma. I just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much you are loved. Even though I haven’t met you yet, I feel like I know you. Every time you kick and punch and dance around in my belly, I know you are going to be a big, strong boy. And I’m so glad for that.
You decided last week that you were tired of momma working so hard, so you made your feelings known. Now we’re sitting in the hospital trying to keep our blood pressure low and our headache at bay. The doctors say you’re growing strong and we’ll probably be here for a while. They want to keep you in momma’s belly as long as they can, so we’re just sitting here waiting on you.
I can already tell you’re going to be one head-strong boy, just like your daddy. When they put the monitor on so I can hear your heartbeat, you run away and hide. The nurses think you’re such a turd, but I know that you will let us hear you when you’re ready. And you always do.
I can’t wait to hold you in my arms and cuddle with you and smell that sweet baby smell. I can’t wait to see you open your eyes and know that you’re looking at me. I can’t wait to find out if you’ll be a blonde-headed angel like your daddy or a red-headed fiend like your grandpa. Or maybe you’ll surprise us all and be a brunette?
I know that you’ll have to come early, since the doctors don’t want my symptoms to get any worse. We’re hoping for 34 weeks, but we’ll just have to wait and see. Please don’t rush on my account. I’m happy to sit here all day long if it means you’ll be happy and healthy.
I love you so much, little baby. Just keep doing what you’re doing and we’ll meet soon.
Love,
Your Momma

What a sweet letter. I’m a physician assistant and work in L&D, and I know how hard it can on moms when we admit them for hospital bedrest. Hang in there Mama! Good luck and I hope that blood pressure stays down and you don’t develop any more pre-eclampsia symptoms!

Ahhh, you are already such a good mama! Keep resting and everything will be okay. Even if you don’t make it to 34 weeks hospitals are amazing places now and Andrew will be just fine. XOXO!

Great Letter. I’m sure you are all excited. We are praying and waiting for the news. Tips from my past, share a blanket with the pups before Andrew gets home so they will already know him. Journal everything. I referred to our journal for Luke to answer questions about when he started to walk & talk. All for a purpose you’ll know later. Believe. On another topic… Phillip’s band is selling magazines. Do you know about “Garden and Gun” ? I had to check it out at B&N. Recipes and stuff you like. Text me if you want me to bring you a copy. Really.

Sending good thoughts and prayers!

Awe! That is so sweet. 😀 I remember reading that you were looking for items for the nursery. Well, I just got the latest Wireless catalog and they have the cutest Star Wars Talking Plush Dolls. They have Chewbacca, Yoda, Darth Vader, and R2-D2. Just figured that I’d let you know. 🙂 The url is: http://thewirelesscatalog.com
