I am a sucker for a good cocktail, but am often turned off by the high calorie count. When I was given the chance to preview the all-new Skinnygirl Popcorn that’s available at Walmart, I knew it would be the perfect addition to a fun summer cocktail. These Salted Popcorn Margarita Martinis are the perfect combination of salt and lime, and the popcorn garnish is so fun!
Skinnygirl Popcorn allows you to enjoy the benefits and indulgence of popcorn without the guilt. It offers a sensible way of snacking by using mini bags to provide just the right amount of popcorn so you don’t overindulge!
Skinnygirl Popcorn is available in two flavors: Lime and Salt, and Butter and Sea Salt. They were both so yummy — I love that the flavors are unique and not something that you typically find with microwave popcorn.
This brand-new product will be available at Walmart stores on Sept. 1, 2014.
So be sure to pick up a package to enjoy these Salted Popcorn Margarita Martinis at your next girls’ night!
Salted Popcorn Margarita Martinis
Ingredients:
1/4 c tequila
1/4 c simple syrup
2 limes, juiced
1 c ice
1 bag Skinnygirl Lime and Salt Popcorn
Directions:
Combine the tequila, lime juice, simple syrup and ice in a blender. Blend on high until the mixture reaches the desired consistency.
Make popcorn according to package directions. Chop up some of the popcorn for garnish for the rim. Prepare glasses by running pieces of lime around the rim and dip the glasses in the chopped popcorn. I used the side of my knife to press the popcorn along the edge of the glass to set it in place.
Pour the martinis into the prepared glasses and serve with the remaining popcorn.
Enjoy!
Make sure you head to Walmart and pick up some of the all-new Skinnygirl Popcorn!

Is it too early for a cocktail? That looks SO good, and I love using the popcorn as a rim garnish as opposed to salt. Cheers to Skinnygirl! #client
