Star Wars Baby Blanket

Star Wars Baby Blanket

This is a sponsored post by me on behalf of Baby Jack Blankets. I received free products to facilitate this review, however, all opinions are my own.

Back when I was planning Andrew’s Star Wars Nursery, it was really difficult to find Star Wars-themed baby items. I searched high and low, but most items were aimed at children and not infants and toddlers.

When Kelley from Baby Jack Blankets asked me to try out a couple of her toddler blankets, I was so excited to see that she offered a Star Wars baby blanket! And since Andrew has started using blankets as a lovey, I knew this would be the perfect product for us!

Andrew hates riding in strollers. When we were in Paris, he cried and threw a fit every time we put him in the cheap umbrella stroller that we had bought for the trip. Even now, he despises that thing.

When I was invited to a party for local bloggers to try the new Graco FastAction Fold Jogger, I decided to go for it. I mean, what did we have to lose?

Avoiding Diaper Change Meltdowns with Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers #FirstFit

Avoiding Diaper Change Meltdowns

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for HUGGIES.

I don’t remember exactly when it started, but somewhere between 14 months and 16 months, Andrew started hating diaper changes. Putting on a fresh, clean diaper involved a knock-down, drag-out fight that ended with both of us frustrated and one of us in tears.

I began to hate diaper changes, too. And I wondered why it had to be this way.

Dallas BlackBerry Z10 Launch Party

BlackBerry Z10 Launch Dallas

This is a sponsored post on behalf of Verizon Wireless. All opinions are my own.

As a Verizon Wireless Ambassador, I’ve had the chance to test several different phones on several different operating systems. Recently, I was given the BlackBerry Z10 to test.

Last night, I had the chance to attend the launch party for the BlackBerry Z10, the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone, hosted by Verizon Wireless!

Kidaroo Crew Labels

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kidaroo Crew.

As a mom with only one child, making sure that everything is labeled isn’t really something I’ve had to think about. That is until last weekend, when we visited Great Wolf Lodge with all the grandkids in my family.

My sister’s boys, Hyrum and Benson, were visiting from New Mexico. And my brother’s children — River, Eli and Shawn (the newest addition!) — came to stay, too. We had five children under the age of 5 in two hotel rooms. It was chaos, but it was FUN.

I was so grateful to have discovered Kidaroo Crew labels last month at the PBJ show at Dallas Market Center.

Iced Latté Popsicles

iced latte pops

Since my son, Andrew, first switched to milk from formula, we’ve been drinking Silk Soy Milk by the gallon. The Nerd and I are both lactose intolerant, so it should have come as no surprise that our son would be, too.

I just love the smooth, creamy taste of Silk Soy Milk, but I don’t really drink very much milk. So when I was asked to try the new Silk Iced Latté, I thought it would be a great fit for me.

Day Out With Thomas: Grapevine, Texas

Day Out With Thomas-001.jpg

One of Andrew’s favorite things to do is to go to Barnes and Noble to play with the train table in the kids’ area. It’s a wooden Thomas the Tank Engine set and he loves it so much.

So when it was announced that A Day Out With Thomas would be rolling into the Grapevine Vintage Railroad station, I knew it would be an experience Andrew would love. I was lucky enough to win a family pack of tickets from Jenn’s RAQ, which just made it even better!
