While we’re giggling over Captain Whiskers’ shenanigans, Andrew’s actually improving his reading, decision-making, and creativity. And he has NO IDEA. I feel like I’ve unlocked some sort of parent cheat code! - It’s screen time I don’t feel guilty about
Look, we all know too much screen time is bad. But this? This is different. We’re bonding, laughing, and creating together. It’s like… quality screen time. Is that a thing? Can we make that a thing?
Our Storymancer Addiction
I kid you not, Andrew asked me this morning if it was bedtime yet. BEDTIME. YET. Who even is this child?! 😱
Last night’s story was about a time-traveling T-Rex named (wait for it) Mr. Toothy. 🦖 Andrew was literally on the edge of his bed trying to decide if Mr. Toothy should try to ride a skateboard or learn to play the guitar. I won’t spoil it, but let’s just say things got hilariously messy!
By the end of it, Andrew was so happy and relaxed, he practically melted into his Star Wars sheets. And I got to sit there, basking in the glow of Mom-of-the-Year status. At least for one night. 😉
