Tag Archives: Snow This was our house on Friday morning. We live in TEXAS. It is not supposed to snow like this in TEXAS. You couldn’t see the SIDEWALK. You couldn’t find the STREET. The Minions had no idea what TO DO in this fluffy white stuff. Kaylee kept face-planting in the snow because she’d pull so hard…  It is COLD here in Texas. And by COLD, I mean “oh-my-goodness-I’m-gonna-freeze-my-tushy-off” weather. We knew it was coming, so on Monday night, The Nerd and I packed up and headed to my brother’s house. It is much a much closer commute for The Nerd from there, and the schools I was scheduled to visit were…  Last week, we got an unexpected surprise: SNOW! I always get excited about snow. I live in Texas, land of unexpected weather. Snow is a rare, but fun, part of that. So, when our backyard was covered in the fluffy white stuff, I took The Minions out for a little fun. Kaylee *loves* to play…  But if it’s white, it’s fair game. At least for Kaylee. Yesterday was the “First Day of Spring.” Yeah, right. It started snowing last night and didn’t stop until noon today. This is TEXAS, people. It’s not supposed to snow. I am not a cold weather kind of gal, and this weather is killing me!…  It’s snowing outside, and it has been all morning! We awoke this morning to a blanket of white on the ground, and it hasn’t stopped sprinkling white stuff all day. Since we live in North Texas, this is not something we are used to. In fact, the Minions had a great time frolicking in the…  It’s been a pretty crazy week, and I’ve been putting my new Canon Digital Rebel XS to good use!
